Wants vs. Needs
Personal Finance is a great class to take as a Junior or Senior because in about a year or two you’ll be graduating from high school, which means you are on your way to starting your own life. Meaning, possibly going to college, then getting a job, finding an apartment, and having luxuries that all require monthly payments. You learn how to prioritize what you should and should not buy as well has figuring out how much you get paid – calculating your monthly income because you have expenses you have to pay. This fundamentally helps you understand what is good and what is bad when it comes to loans, credit cards, bonds, and future options.
